Remove a UAE travel ban
We check whether a travel ban is in place using your passport and Emirates ID, and have it removed — through debt settlement, withdrawal of the creditor's complaint, or a court application.
When clients come to us
- you were not allowed through passport control or were taken off a flight
- you received a notice from a bank that the debt has been referred to court
- you are about to fly and want to check your status in advance
- a complaint has been filed against you over a bounced cheque
- you are outside the UAE and are not sure you will be able to enter and leave
What we do
- check for a travel ban in the court, police and immigration registers
- establish the basis: a civil debt, a criminal case, or a creditor's complaint
- calculate the amount required for removal and verify that it is justified
- negotiate with the creditor or bank on a repayment schedule and withdrawal of the complaint
- file an application to have the ban lifted in court if the basis no longer applies
- confirm the removal with an official statement and verify the record has been cleared from every register
How the work proceeds
- Check. You send a scan of your passport and Emirates ID. Within a business day we tell you whether a ban is in place, who imposed it, under what case, and for what amount.
- Basis. We work out what caused the ban. This determines the route: a civil debt is handled through repayment or a settlement agreement, a criminal case through the public prosecution.
- Settlement. We negotiate with the creditor over instalments or a reduced amount, and prepare the settlement agreement and the withdrawal of the complaint.
- Removal. We file the documents with the court or the relevant authority, obtain the ruling lifting the ban, and confirm that the restriction has been removed.
Documents required
- copy of your international passport
- Emirates ID if you have one
- case number or bank letter, if you received one
- debt documents: contract, statement, cheques

Коротко о главном
Some checks are available on the Dubai Police and court portals, but they do not show every type of ban: restrictions arising from civil cases and creditor complaints are often not reflected there. A full picture requires checking several registers at once.
If the debt has been settled and the creditor has withdrawn the complaint — from 5 business days. Through the court — from three weeks, depending on the court's workload.
Do not sign any documents in Arabic without a translation, and do not give explanations without an advocate present. Tell us the case number or the police station — we will find out the basis and tell you what to do.
No. The ban remains in force until it is officially lifted. Attempting to leave is recorded and can worsen your position in the case.
