Document legalisation and attestation in the UAE

We take documents through the full chain of certifications so they are accepted in the country you need: MOFA attestation, consular legalisation, sworn translation and, where applicable, an apostille.

Legalisation — from 5 business days from AED 750 — full chain RU · AR · EN

When clients come to us

  • a document from the UAE needs to be submitted abroad
  • a foreign document needs to be submitted in the UAE
  • a diploma or certificate is required for a visa or a job
  • a bank or court rejected a document for lack of certification
  • you need to confirm marriage, birth, or a clean criminal record

What we do

  • determine the certification route for the specific destination country
  • carry out notarial certification and MOFA attestation
  • arrange consular legalisation
  • arrange a sworn translation
  • check the completeness of the set before submission so the document is not returned

How the work proceeds

  1. Diagnosis. We find out where the document is going and what requirements the receiving party has.
  2. Preparation. We certify the original, obtaining a duplicate or certificate if needed.
  3. Attestation. We complete UAE MOFA steps and the consulate of the relevant country.
  4. Translation and delivery. We produce the sworn translation and hand over the finished set.

Частые вопросы

Коротко о главном

The UAE has joined the Hague Convention, but whether an apostille applies depends on the destination country and the type of document. Consular legalisation is still required for a number of routes, so we select the route individually.

The full chain usually takes 5 to 10 business days. Some consulates take longer.

In most cases, yes. For some categories a notarised copy is accepted — we check this at the diagnosis stage.
