Power of attorney in the UAE: online processing
We prepare and certify powers of attorney for transactions, courts, banks and government authorities — in the UAE and beyond. Certification takes place online, and we send the original by courier.
When clients come to us
- you need to sell or buy real estate without travelling in person
- you need a representative in court or before a government authority
- you need to manage an account or a company share
- you are in the UAE, and the action is being carried out in Russia or another country
- a bank or registrar requires a notarised form
What we do
- draft the wording of the power of attorney for the specific action and the requirements of the receiving party
- arrange notarisation in the UAE, online if required
- arrange a sworn translation
- carry out legalisation through MOFA and the consulate of the relevant country
- send the original by courier and confirm that the document has been accepted
How the work proceeds
- Clarification. We find out who the power of attorney is submitted to, where, and what action it covers. This determines both the wording and the legalisation route.
- Draft. We prepare the text in two languages and agree it with you.
- Certification. We carry out the notarial session, including by video call with identification via passport and Emirates ID.
- Legalisation and delivery. We complete MOFA and consular steps, and send the original by courier.
Documents required
- copy of the principal's passport
- Emirates ID if available
- the representative's passport details
- a description of the action and the details of the asset or account
